Focus and Scope
Mission
The mission of the Brazilian Journal of Forensic Nursing - RBEF is the scientific and technological dissemination of forensic nursing science, encouraging the multidisciplinary interaction of related areas and their interfaces, such as Biology, Criminalistics, Dentistry, Medicine and others. It seeks to cooperate effectively to advance the scientific production of the empirical evidences important for the practice, teaching and research of forensic nursing worldwide. Contributing to the strengthening and development of the profession and specialty, especially with regard to the objectives of the technical skills of forensic nursing, promoting an exchange of knowledge regarding interdisciplinarity with other forensic sciences around the world.

Scope and policy
The Brazilian Journal of Forensic Nursing (RBEF) aims to publish articles and literature reviews in Forensic Nursing. It is intended to publish original articles and authors should agree not to publish in any other journal an article submitted and accepted for publication by the Brazilian Journal of Forensic Nursing (RBEF). The article submission fee will be charged if accepted. The works should be of permanent interest in research, advances and projects related to Forensic Nursing and its interdisciplinarity that fall into the following categories:
